"As time passed I desired that the attivity of the Foundation was directed not only to the cultural and artistic aspect, which remains anyway very important to me, but above all to the humanitarian field. I have seen huge emergencies that the rich Western world can not ignore anymore. My personal sensibility has been also particulary stroken by some videos, filmed in Africa by Fathers Missionaries, that showed the dramatic effects of lack of water, above all on children.
As a consequence, I thougt I had to engage myself togheter with my Foundation to bring a first and concrete help to stop this situation.
This certainly means contrasting the today widespread mentality, characterized by a superficial and indifferent attitude. I know it is not easy to make our voice heard, and this is especially true in an international context, but will, determination and constancy often allow to overcome the hardest difficulties.
The Codex Codicum Foundation is firmly determined to pursuit these goals and is now working to carry out sensibilization campaigns and projects to bring immediate help to the Missionaries in Africa and to supply all their necessities."
